Master of Arts in Educational Technology Transcript

Welcome to my Annotated Transcript Page! Below you will find a summary of graduate courses I completed at MSU during my Master of Arts in Educational Technology program.

Fall 2014- Spring 2015

For the entirety of a year, I worked on completing my internship at Ferndale High School in Ferndale, Michigan.  I worked closely with a mentor teacher who coached me on becoming a better teacher. On Fridays, I worked on completing four courses: TE 801 Professional Roles and Teaching Practice I,  TE802 Reflecting and Inquiring Teaching Practice II, TE803 Professional Roles and Teaching Practice II , and TE804 Reflecting and Inquiring Teaching Practice II. During this time, I learned how to build ethical relationships amongst my teaching community and how to handle responsibilities in a school environment and community. I also practiced applying research and inquiry, creating lesson plans, and taking on the lead teacher role.

Summer 2018

Over the duration of 6 week, I completed three courses in the MAET program: Understanding with Technology, CEP 811 Adapting Innovative Teaching to Education, and CEP 812 Applying Education Technology to Practice. A key focus was on using the TPACK framework in the classroom- how to incorporate technology into a classroom environment that is appropriate towards one's content and context while also having a strong pedagogical approach. Secondly, I put time into repurposing a tool for the Maker Movement. We applied a similar approach to repurposing our classroom tools with inquiry based learning project.  Finally, a major component of these classes was focused on researching a problem we were experiencing in our class or school.
